Our mission is to create a space of opportunity for gathering business skills and experiences, developing social integration, and enhancing the quality of International Business studies.

The SGH IB League is a student organization focused on three pillars:



• Integrating students of the Master in International Business
• Creating a space for personal development
• Enhance the quality and experience of the Master in International Business

​

The Master in International Business program at SGH attracts more than 60 students every academic year. Each year students from all over the world come together in Warsaw to seek out a unique experience that will shape their future. Until recently, no organization has existed to compliment the needs and challenges of the Master in International Business. As important stakeholders, we believe it is vital that we give ourselves a strong voice.





Incoming Students

Assisting incoming students to better understand their studies and campus life. For all incoming students, we work with the Admissions and International Office at SGH to present relevant issues which are intended to enhance the incoming student experience. For this purpose we have already compiled the IB Students Guide 2012.

Working with Administration & Faculty

 

Creating a dialogue between SGH administration and International Business students to easing bureaucratic hurdles and procedures for students and staff. Consequently, we have already set up our own data-exchange platform hosting all relevant lecture files, documents and presentations of IB studies. This initiative has already been of great success and use – of course, it is going to be continued.

​Experiences

Enriching our program with extra-curricular activities is vital to our growth outside class. We are convinced that complementing our theoretical knowledge with practical knowledge is essential. We bring in business and academic contacts to give us insight to work experiences and life in business. ​This has been carried out in many ways: company presentations, guest speakers, and skills seminars. Spirit & Engagement



We strongly believe that mutual help and co-operation among all university members will lead to enhanced group dynamics and better academic performance. Whenever each of us contributes even a little, the outcome is much more rewarding. Everybody who would like to contribute their ideas is more than welcome to join us.
